Bartolone exibition Urban Visions Nicola Bartolone In 1962 geboren in Palermo (Italië). Studeerde Bouwkunde in Palermo en ging daarna naar de School of Media and Photojournalism Newport (Engeland). Werkte van 1988 tot 1992 als freelance fotojournalist in Londen voor de linkse pers (Independent, Guardian, Living Marxism). Publiceert sinds 1992 met Amsterdam als thuisbasis reportages in verschillende kranten en tijdschriften zoals Volkskrant, Parool, Trouw, Oor, Update, Italia. Recent werk toont heldere, levendige kleurenfoto’s van thema’s als billboards in stedelijke omgevingen, festivals in Europa en straatbeelden in India.
