BiographyShe was born on July 21st, 1944 in Borgonovo (Piacenza, Italy). After spending her childhood in Paris, she went back to Italy at the beginning of the 50's. She got married in 1963 and had 5 children, being also grandmother of 8 grandchildren. 1959 - At the age of 15 she receives a special mention for creativity and colour during a Painitng Competition in Rome. 1963 - After obtaining the Classical School-leaving certificate, she quits to study. Family life and professional career take her temporarily away from artistic activities. Indeed, she dedicates all her interest to the development of her family's companies, thus becoming Director of H.R. and getting specialized of the Philosophy of Total Quality and often being relater at conferences and courses. The Robur Group, an international company specialized in gas heating and cooling systems manufacture, is an entrepreneurial reality distinguishing itself for the innovative management of both product and organisation. 1970 - She resumes to paint, experimenting several different techniques. 1980 - A period of interior research starts. Her paintings become strongly dependent on her ability to feel and transmit "sensations and deep feelings". 1990 - The concrete trace that her life in the company has moulded determines a new expressive language of her being artist: the distemper treated "in modo materico". 1992 - Her art enriched with the experimentation of the acrylic technique lands in the U.S.A. Her paintings are presented at some exhibitions in Evansville (IN) and her name appears on local newspapers. She takes part to the Permanent Exhibition in Newburg (IN). 1996 - Personal exhibition at the American Consulate in Milano (Italy) and later in Newburgh, entitled "Tomorrow is a new frontier". 1997 - New personal exhibitions in Newburgh, entitled "Energy and colour as languages of being" and in Locarno at the Isola di Brissago (Switzerland). 1998 - Personal exhibition in Newburg "Painting as a path of knowledge". She publishes her first poetry-book "Luoghi di luce nell'anima" (Places of light in the soul), an abandoned liric listening of the religious melody of Life. 1999 - Personal exhibition in Tokyo (Japan) "Emotions and interior images expressed by flowers". 2000 - She attends to CANTICO 2000 by the Mostra Permanente di Milano with the sculpture "When the heart meets the mind". She publishes her second poetry-book "Voglia di stelle" (Wish of stars) and in team with A. Borgese and P.M. Vello publishes "Il Percorso Strategico Creativo", a guide for the creative strategical process dedicated to the new management. Personal exhibition in Newburgh "Poetry between Indiana's Trees". 2002 - Second personal exhibition in Tokyo (Japan) entitled "Soul's breath". 2003 - She publishes her third Poetry-book "Come gocce raccolte". 2004 - In January, a new personal exhibition in Tokyo (Japan) "Hymn to Life". In July, in the ancient rooms of "Palazzo Visconti", in Brignano Gera d'Adda, she presents again her exhibition "Hymn to Life". November 13th-21st. She takes part to the "First Show Artists and Writers" promoted by the Accademia Italiana "The Etruscan" in Vada (Livorno). 2005 - March 19th-26th. She joins in the "First Show of Art and contemporary Literature" promoted by the Accademia Italiana "The Etruscan" in Vada (Livorno). There she showed the paintings "Cypresses" and "Fairy place". She receives a "Mention for Excellence" from Esart Gallery - Barcelona (Spain). Her own Painting Atelier takes place in the old street Borgo Canale, in Bergamo. Web site publishing www.traversiguerratelier.com. 2006 - Cultural epistemological exhibition "Love for beauty and well-done" (April-May) of Science - Art - Training at Saint Agostino former church (Bergamo - Italy) to celebrate the first 50 years of Robur Company founded by her husband, Benito Guerra, in 1956. Christmas 2006: "Epiphany of listening", a book of 50 poems to say thanks to people who have shared Robur values. 2007 - The fourth personal in Tokyo "From the gaze and in the heart", in March. Then "Hidden Garden" the title of the exhibition in Borgonovo Val Tidone, the native country, in June. Hidden Garden is also the title of the painting she has presented to Borgonovo to express gratitude to the simple honest good peoples who have enriched her childhood. 2009 - Personal Exhibition "Simbolica Floreale", Lugano (Switzerland)
